So there are sometimes we need to hide our personal data or file for due some restricted reason. So In this article I am going to show you how to hide your personal data or file in windows operating system like windows 7, 8, 8.1,10 and how to show hidden file. There are so many people don’t know how to do this, ok no problem I will show you How to start, so let’s start
Open windows explorer and navigate menu to the file which exactly you want to hide. Click mouse right menu then go to the properties option, Then right-click on the file select properties tab. you will see in the general tab options and now focus down menu where is the hidden option, then click tick mark on hidden file then apply after that ok.
Then Go to the My Computer or This Pc and focus upper menu find where the view option, then click view. Just focus on my blog image I hope you will got it. Then click hidden Items,
if you want to access the hidden file directly without unhide it. So if you want to access hidden files then you need to remember the path of the hidden folder or file where you located.
Example: c:\yourtopi.dll
How to hide and show using Command Prompt
Go to the windows menu and type CMD or keyboard windows key + R, when open run menu then type CMD after click Enter you will see. Like my Blog photos
Then Type cd and path of the file which you want to hide.
Type cd and path of the file which you want to hide.
You can replace the path of the file by using your own file path.
and enter command- Attrib +h “name of the folder or file”
To hide files or folder inside the main hidden folder navigate to the Main folder and enter the following command
Attrib +h /s /d
If you want to unhide the hidden files through command prompt navigate to the hidden folder.
Type the following command
Attrib -h “name of the folder”
